Our Story
It started with a simple frustration.
Anyone who has lived in Los Angeles knows the feeling — you're hungry, you want something real, something made with care, and everywhere you look you're met with overpriced chain restaurants serving mass-produced food that tastes like nothing. You spend $20 on a meal and leave feeling like you were robbed twice — once by the price, and once by the quality.
We knew there was a better way. All around us, in kitchens across the city, people were cooking incredible food — grandmothers making tamales from family recipes, bakers waking up at 4am to pull fresh bread from their ovens, baristas crafting specialty drinks that no café could replicate. Talented, passionate food makers who had spent years perfecting their craft — but with no real way to share it with their community and no platform built for them.

We exist to connect Los Angeles communities with the real food being made right in their neighborhoods — and to give the people making it the freedom to build a life doing what they love.
