You'll find home cooked meals, baked goods (cakes, cookies, bread), specialty drinks (coffee, horchata, boba, aguas frescas), artisan products (salsas, jams, pickles, spice blends), fresh produce, meal prep services, and much more — all from people in your community.
Yes! All sellers on Chef Next Door operate under MEHKO permits, which is California's AB 626 food safety law. This means their kitchens are inspected and regulated. We take food safety very seriously — it's a core part of our platform.

It's simple: browse food makers near you, pick what you want, add to cart, pay securely through the app, and pick up your order fresh from the seller's location. The whole process takes just a few taps.
Currently, all orders are pickup only — you'll go to the seller's location to get your food fresh. Delivery is coming soon! For now, most sellers are within walking or short driving distance.
All payments are handled securely through the app via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your payment info is encrypted and never shared with sellers.
